Unveiling Stephan Knox

Before I stepped onto the path that would transform my body forever, I had started on a new book project. One that had been requested by a very close friend. He wanted a historical fantasy with full on sword fights, folk lore, world building, and while it didn’t have to have romance or erotica, the main character had to relate gay. It only took maybe all of a day before a tale began to scribble itself into my mind and off I went. But as I headed into the genre world of historicals, I worried about its chances against the critics given it was being penned by an author already known for romance and erotica.

It wasn’t long after when I made the choice to stop living in the closet and that gave me an excellent opportunity to adopt a second pen name, one that would be used for my historical fantasies and post-apocalyptic sci-fis.

I was rather excited about it, but then the historical fantasy I was working on kept getting bigger and taking longer to finish. I grew antsy and decided to create a facebook account for me under my new name. I kept to just a few folks, mostly people and friends I knew outside of facebook and those who knew I was transitioning, but it gave me some freedom to be the new me and not have to wear the facade of “Princess’ any longer. Of course with it came the anxiety that someone would eventually call me out as catfishing. I really wasnt, but from an outside limited perception I could see why someone might think it. (It was nerve racking to say the least. LOL)

I did finally go public about my transitioning, and I shed my old name away permanently as well a on facebook, but here in Stephan’s world, I still didn’t have a finished book so there really wasn’t any sense in announcing the new penname. Well… that too has passed and I am thrilled to announce I am venturing off into the genre I love the most and have just completed my first Historical Fantasy Novel as STEPHAN KNOX.

Now, don’t worry, I will still be writing as Tarian P.S. with several more Teddy Bear books to put out. And Rock Harding will be releasing another coloring book sometime this year. But I am leaving the big ass epic stories to Stephan and I hope you’ll like me there as much as you do my other tales.

Wish Me Luck and stay tuned!!! I’m taking Stephan on a blog tour to announce his new book release on January 29th!!!

A Hi, a Ho, and Adieu to the Fair Lady 2017

What a year, aye? It’s been a long one despite its mathematical calendar being the same as all years before, this one has left us winded and tussled. We’re all glad to see it come to its close. But lets look at some good and take that memory with us.

I know I know, you’re rolling your eyes at me then risking a glance at the bookshelf to the empty spot next to your copy of ‘Right One 4 Diesel’ by Talon P.S. and those of you in France are awaiting the French release of ‘Dominer l’Heritiere’ wondering what good am I referring to. HAHA. Well, I know the delays in the Dominion of Brothers Series has not brought smiles on your faces, rest assured the series is not left behind and you’ll be receiving your bounty in 2018.

But 2017 saw the release of something very different. ME. The real me, the person hiding in the wrong skin for all of my life. The decision to make that change took place the day after Christmas in 2015, as I drove home. I tell you when those words slips from my lets, “Its time.” the rest of me responded “Yeah… yeah… YEAH! It is time.” A smile came over my face and here I am two years later, and I haven’t lost it since. In February of 2017, Princess was finally allowed to slip away with the past and Tarian, a name chosen to match my brothers became legal. 2017, also blessed me with my twin’s face in the mirror. A little older than I remember him, but I am finally my brother’s true twin. And then in October, thanks to the tremendous assistance of the organizers at the Gay Romance Literature convention, held in Denver, Colorado, I came out publicly before all my author and reader friends.

Along with this transition, I gained a renewed strength to ventured back into one of my favorite genres, Historical Fantasy, along with a new author pen name for the genre specific books. Don’t worry, you will still see me writing as Tarian P.S., but keep your eyes out for another version of me to be announced soon, because he’s (me, hee hee) going to take you on a venture that will blow your mind and leave you in a state of book-coma for days.

2018 will also see the release of the next two books of the Dominion of Brothers series, ‘Touching Vida~Vince’ and ‘Seducing His Thief’. And if all goes well A couple more Teddy Bears to add to your collection.

2017 may have seemed like a barren year, but it was actually a year of much sowing. For all of us, it was a year working to make us stronger; a long year of hard work to reap in the new year.

STILL WORKING ON THE NEW SITE

Gee whiz this has turned into a major pain in my behind. WordPress has changed everything about them and now I cant do half of what I used to be able to do to design and manage the website. I really wish I had known how drastic it had changes as I might have gone with a totally different provider. But we’re here and we’ve yet selected a theme, because we want what we want and for some reasons we cant get it. Ain’t that life for ya? hahha

Nevertheless, as much as I’d like to have the site up and running, I’m not rushing to get it done as I am still trying to figure out the new wordpress mess that it is.
