Before I stepped onto the path that would transform my body forever, I had started on a new book project. One that had been requested by a very close friend. He wanted a historical fantasy with full on sword fights, folk lore, world building, and while it didn’t have to have romance or erotica, the main character had to relate gay. It only took maybe all of a day before a tale began to scribble itself into my mind and off I went. But as I headed into the genre world of historicals, I worried about its chances against the critics given it was being penned by an author already known for romance and erotica.

It wasn’t long after when I made the choice to stop living in the closet and that gave me an excellent opportunity to adopt a second pen name, one that would be used for my historical fantasies and post-apocalyptic sci-fis.

I was rather excited about it, but then the historical fantasy I was working on kept getting bigger and taking longer to finish. I grew antsy and decided to create a facebook account for me under my new name. I kept to just a few folks, mostly people and friends I knew outside of facebook and those who knew I was transitioning, but it gave me some freedom to be the new me and not have to wear the facade of “Princess’ any longer. Of course with it came the anxiety that someone would eventually call me out as catfishing. I really wasnt, but from an outside limited perception I could see why someone might think it. (It was nerve racking to say the least. LOL)

I did finally go public about my transitioning, and I shed my old name away permanently as well a on facebook, but here in Stephan’s world, I still didn’t have a finished book so there really wasn’t any sense in announcing the new penname. Well… that too has passed and I am thrilled to announce I am venturing off into the genre I love the most and have just completed my first Historical Fantasy Novel as STEPHAN KNOX.

Now, don’t worry, I will still be writing as Tarian P.S. with several more Teddy Bear books to put out. And Rock Harding will be releasing another coloring book sometime this year. But I am leaving the big ass epic stories to Stephan and I hope you’ll like me there as much as you do my other tales.
