2024 WORD COUNT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
While I only managed to get one book title finished and published this year, that isn’t the bar of what I have accomplished in the way of writing for this year, because I have accomplished a great deal more. It’s simply that I am not finished yet. So here are the titles I have been actively working on consistently in 2024.

You ever set yourself up to do a chore at the house. And while doing that chore you come across another then you notice the plants need watering, and while doing that you spot the tomato plant as ripe tomatoes needing picketing, so you go to grab a bowl and so on and so on… haha. Well, that’s what’s been going on with mine and Talon’s books.
DOMINION NEWS:
To start, The Dominion of Brothers series all got a refresher to bring them up to date, including some cover do overs and a new round of editing. Just as last year when i did the same for all the Teddy Bear Collection in time for the newest release in the series. It was a good move all around, the DoB series is worth it, plus it refreshed the whole story in my head, helping me as I finish the series in Talon’s place. If you already own the books, go to the online bookstore where you bought them to download the updated editions. If you haven’t bought them yet, what are you waiting on?
The timing was perfect too. As you all know, The Dominion of Brothers Series is also published in French through Juno Publishing, except they dropped the ball and never fulfilled the contract we had with them. While we were perfectly happy to stay with them, their actions continued to degrade the quality of Talon’s books and I made the decision to take the books back and get them redone and they’re almost ready to get re-released 100% under TPS Publishing. Then we’ll finally be able to get the next in the series translated and released for our French fans.
Okay, okay, okay, I’m getting to it. Yes, the book you all have been pulling your hair out to see finally get released… Book 8, Seducing his Tierf is scheduled to be released near the end of 2024. And that is all I am saying for now. Let’s not jinx it. lol
RETIRING A PENNAME:
After considerable debating, pausing then debating again, the decision to retire the penname STEPHAN KNOX was made. It was just too much work juggle another name and finding no benefit from it, so all of Tarian’s title will now be under TARIAN P.S. With the first of the two KEEPING WITH DESTINEY already converted and it got a new round of editing because why not.
Anail Dhragain will also be changed over and re-released sometime this year.

Rachel Langella and Ari McKay are the professional pseudonyms for Arionrhod and McKay, who have been writing together for over a decade. Ari McKay is a retired systems engineer turned full-time writer and seamstress. Now that she is an empty-nester, she has turned her attentions to finding the perfect piece of land to build a fortress in preparation for the zombie apocalypse, and baking (and eating) far too many cakes.
Rachel Langella is a creative writing teacher who has been writing for one reason or another most of her life. She loves all things spooky and/or vintage, and she’s given in to Ari’s corruptive influences and learned to sew so she can make her own vintage-style clothes and costumes. Given she has the survival skills of a gnat, she’s relying on Ari to help her survive the zombie apocalypse.
